Seem to recall it was Grundig...I did find a site (edworthy's, I think) that had changers compatible

with the head unit, so a bit of searching might reveal a head unit capable of controlling the changer.

Or, stick an amp or two behind it... :D

Rob.

It's a Panasonic changer but it has a Blaupunkt type connector so you'd have to sort that out.

I know the Sony site do a compatability chart thingy; as Rob says the HU is a Grundig.

Well it was a beautiful day yesterday and decided that I would listen to Radiohead's Hail.... which prompted me to play it in the car ........and then I found the stanley knife !!

Definite improvement in the bass - looked at the flap cut and " widened the flap with duct tape on all three sides then tucked it in to membrane .... Hope that this will improve the potential water problem by producing an overlap .

I would discount the potential airbag problem because there are drain holes holes for the door space on the outer side of the lower door seal - therefore there can be no pressure problem .

My personal preference is to have the driver's side only tweeter disconnected .

major discovery (IMO)

the bass tip works.. no more crappy foamcup/membrane

replace front and f tweets with

sony 1726 component upgrades sounds 200% better

rears replace other day with sony 1331 xplod - need some bass blockers on - got but not fitted yet..

major discovery no.2 (IMO - but you might know)

want preouts

get a pre out adapter from blaupunkt - plugs into the blank yellow connector on the back of the headunit and give f+r pre out..

looks like a trip out for my trusty punch 60i and the 10" sub:cool:

is a grundig/ blaupunkt hybrid according to my local stereo shop..

but the panasonic changer doesnt work with anything else - even panasonic head units... (damn wanted an excuse for a fold away tv...and the pana's are so nice!)

This is what is planned for my amps - Ian wasn't sure if it would

work due to the HU not being pure Blaupunkt, but if someone

else says it works, then that's a good sign! :D
