Dynamic Blue FL estate

Featured Replies

A few photos of my car. Yes, I know they're not the best pics and the car's not perfectly clean, but don't have that much time for polishing and scouting out nice locations at the moment.

I went for dynamic blue, non-metallic. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but thought I'd show you all what it looks like.

Had the car a week now and really happy with it. I won't list all its virtues as I'm sure I'd be preaching to the converted, but it does exactly what i wanted it to. DSG is really smooth in either auto or flappy paddle mode. 1.4TSI is plenty powerful enough for me and nice and quiet. Yep, really happy.

Mmmm, nice colour. Was going to opt for white but now I'm not so sure. Decisions, decions.....

BTW, does the 1.4TSI offer emough umph in the (heavier than saloon) estate. This was my initial choice, but was thinking of opting for the 1.8TSI instead?

It's fine for me. Estate is only heavier by 35kg - imagine the effect of an 11 year old child on your back seat. I can't say I've really ragged it - not had the oppurtunity and I'm taking it a bit easy during running in, and I'm not really that sort of person. But it certainly doesn't feel slow, it accelerates as well I'd want it to.

I'm sure it's no vRS, so if acceleration is a major factor for you maybe the 1.8TSI would be a slighlty better bet, but no the 1.4TSI doesn't struggle with lack of power. I'd test drive both and see if you really need the 1.8.

no pics showing for me

No I obviously did something wrong there. Here's a normal link.

Picasa Web Albums - Speffrey.Sputely - Skoda

If anyone has any ideas why my image insertion attempt failed let me know.

It would appear there are no tags surrounding your links. If you add them this happens:

Cars looking good by the way

Yeah I tried that initially, but those URLs don't seem to be permanent with Google/Picasa. They'd stopped working so i reformatted as:

Looks nice. See the miserable blighters didn't give you any fuel then...

Nice looking car - here you go:

Thanks. I'm well confused about the pictures. I can see the ones you added if I'm not logged in, but they're just links when I do log in. Oh well.

Yeah, thanks, I like the colour. Obviously salesman tried to talk me into metallic, but i resisted. Must admit I was a bit unsure how it would look, but pleased with it.

No, not much petrol, but otherwise good service so I'm not complaining.
