Cheapo VRS seat covers

Featured Replies

I use my car for work and occasionally have to go to industrial type sites, meaning my trousers can get pretty dirty. The white fabric on the seat is not the greatest idea in the world and so I want to protect it with cheap seat covers. I don't care what they look like!

I've found some on Ebay but I asked the guy if they will definitely fit the VRS seat as it has bolsters. His reply was "yes it will fit. What are bolsters" so I'm not too confident in his reply.

Unfortunately, most of the cheaper ones are very chavy, I would prefer a plain black one.

So, will these fit:

And has anyone seen any plain ones that are that price or less?

the vRS seats dont really have bolsters mate, they are not much bigger than a normal car seat. I am sure they will fit over them as most have bits to adjust them and tighten over the seat.

Ok thanks. My last car was a Peugeot 306 and so I assumed the VRS seat was 'bolsterised' - it certainly is compared to the Pug.

I had some plain black ones off of ebay which I've just replaced with vRS logo black ones, had no trouble getting them to fit, the only issue was the head rest used to get pulled down all the time and I like it set quite high up.

Gave my old covers to a mate with a Z4 but he's found they're useless as the seatbelt mount is build into the shoulder of the seat so they won't fit over

I keep a pair of cheap tesco own brand ones in the back incase I get grubby at work or muddy when out on my bike. They slip on easy enough and fold up small enough to fit in the cubby hole under the boot floor. Not what I would recommend for regular use though.

Talking of seats I saw an ex rozzer vRS estate with 70k on the clocks at auction the other week. The seats and carpets were literally black with grime

Screwfix is your friend.

These any good?
