Hi, I have just purchased a Superb Elegance with a Solar Sunroof, and was interested in exaxtly what it does?

My understanding is it uses solar energy to drive the air-con/ventilation fans.

My mate had it on his A8 and always used to brag about it.

it uses solar power from the sunroof to circulate fresh air through the cars interior, basically keeping it cooler in hot weather. A/C is not used, neither is the air heated, its just external air passed through the interior.

As said above, thats exactly what it does & it's a nice touch in the Superb
