Hi all Does anybody know if you get get around the regional settings on the BBc I player? As in get it to work outside of the UK?

Dont ask me!! I havent got a clue!! I remember somebody on here saying that they have used it in the US and Germany i think!! Now i could be wrong about that!!

you need a UK ip address to watch iPlayer, so you will need some sort of UK based proxy server or VPN tunnel.

If you are willing to provide the bandwidth, then another option is the slingbox which is not limited to BBC. A friend in Australia does this with help from his son.
