My 57 plate Octy II 1.9 tdi has just decided to let me know it needs its first service (15,000 miles) so I just wondered what the going rate is at your local skoda dealer?

I will see if Unit 18 can do it (as it's under warranty I think they have to be vat registered or something)

But any prices you have paid for a first service (variable) would be nice to know

I paid about 185 for my first service on a 2.0. I doubt the smaller engine would be much cheaper.

Just trying to manage my money a bit 6 weeks off work on half pay :rotz: and my car decides to tell me it needs servicing now thankyou

£198 on a VRS 2.0 TDI yesterday. 1st service on variable 18500 miles. 57 plate.

Just had it serviced ...£192 so seems about right
