 has the passenger side seat been damaged on the side bolster ?

Stop making me panic . I had to go out and look. I think you mean the sewn on label which says "AIRBAG". There is also a reflection of light on the side panel, and on the thumbnail the manual adjuster for the lumbar support looks like a white scratch on the leather, but the seat is all OK.

 sorry, looked like a knick in the leather from the pic. Interior looks like is coping well though. Shame the headlining isn't dark though.

Just ordered 1.8t L&K dsg, paddles, TPM, BT,storm blue. I'm like a kid before Christmas, just can't wait. I've specified the grey leather even though it looks a bit light. The dealer has guessed at wk50 build, confirmation to follow.

Any chance of a shot of the engine bay, in paricular the air intake pipe and air box?

TIA

Not doing much mileage, but so far at 1630 miles, only 40.40 mpg.

At this mileage the last car had managed 42.52.

I suppose that it could be to do with starting the ownership in winter rather than summer, but as there is nothing different in the power train, it doesn't look great.

Nice car but I'd do without those wheels tbh. They'll be a right pain to keep clean. Just my opinion.

Can't disagree. I think for us mortals, the ride and performance improvements that are supposed to come from alloy over steel are unlikely to be noticed. You can also replace wheel covers cheaply when scuffed, but can't do the same for alloys.

Much darker. I chose onyx as it hides the dirt better. Light leather is a nightmare to keep clean - our lounge suite is cream and I'm forever having to clean it.

We haver a Mk 1 L&K, now on 156000 & the light tan leather still looks pretty good, probably been treated about 3 times & took a pasting from air bag dust as well when the car was shortened

The Superb had the dark leather & was a pig to keep looking clean, always looked dusty, the Zed also has dark leather, 45000 & it looks really tatty but perhaps thats Nissans corner pinching !!!!

Whichever colour both are far easier to keep looking good than fabric

All my humble opinion of course :D

The next car Im thinking of getting has cream leather, is it a mistake ????
