Nokia 5800 on Superb factory bluetooth

Featured Replies

What does the factory fit Bluetooth (£480) give you over say a Parrot kit fitted by Halfords

Both are wired into the car's sound system, is their anymore functionality?

Also I have just got a new Nokia 5800. This is not listed in the Skoda brochure as a phone that works with the Superb. However the phone only came onto the market after the brochure went to print.

Has anyone got a Nokia 5800 and Superb II with bluetooth?

i've got a passat which has basically the same bluetooth kit as the superb, works with my 5800 just fine

My 5800 woks fine in my Superb ;)

We have a Parrot kit on our Octy and the factory kit in the Superb the difference in quality is massive let alone the functionality. The Superb bluetooth is everything you want from a car kit (if your phone is compatible) the Parrot is just about ok if there is no other option

Thanks guys

I asked the question about the superb as it is the same as the Octavia which I have just ordered.

I was just going to get another Parrot kit fitted like I did on my Focus ST and which worked fine. But this was before I fully understood how the Skoda system worked and rSAP.

I had already ordered Maxidot so now changing to the Octy BT system will not be too expensive as I would have spent £150 to £200 getting a Parrot kit fitted anyway.

I have just pick up my Superb, my works phone a nokia 6310i works great, but the nokia 5800 could not connect anybody any tips

do you have sim access enabled on the 5800??

just found out how to turn on the remote on the phone, so I will give the nokia 5800 a try in the morning

Did this work with a Nokia 5800?

Yes it works a treat better than the 6310i,

As some phones stores an person with more than one number on the phone rather than the sim card can the RSAP System pick these numbers up, having problems with teh 6310
