Picked up my new VRS

Featured Replies

Today I collected my new baby, a Race Blue VRS CR DSG Estate

Standard Car, with spare wheel and metallic paint

Just a note it has Maxi dot as standard as it is a DSG. according to the dealer it is included with Multifunction steering wheel upgrade which DSG cars have as standard.

What a car only 20miles driven so far and it is fantastic, in a different league to my 1999 C240 Sport that it replaced.

Will get some pics uploaded maybe tomorrow, if anyone has any specific pictures they would like to help them please let me know and i'll see what i can do.

Hmm.....the DSG I test drove didn't have the multi function steering wheel or Maxidot - just a tiptronic lever. That was an 09 plate.

Edit - Just thought, I think on the new ones you do get MFSW with DSG and if that gives maxidot then that's quite cool. A lot of kit bundled together. :)

well maxidot was standard on mine, there are conflicting stories from dealers weather it is or isn't standard. be interesting to see someone else with a standard dsg has fitted

Never thought I liked the idea of DSG, but love the paddles. Hmm, where's my chequebook ... ;)

Every 2nd car is silver, period.

Funny, my dealer said when choosing my colour that white was the new silver and it was becoming very popular. I went for the Cupertino beige as it looks like silver but it's not :D

Looks very nice mate.

As for DSG - I drove my guvnor's Essex Bread Van (sorry white Scirocco ) and I have to say I was mucho amazed at the seamless changes. Will defo be on my shopping list in five years!

Enjoy the new turbocharged baby carrier!
