Aqua Blue paint code anyone?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone confirm the actual paint code for a 2009 Aqua Blue Octavia?

I believe, from the car sticker , it is 9452, however, I'm having real difficulty getting a touch-up paint kit for it. Halfords say this code doesn't exist, and the dealer is absolutely useless!!

Even a couple of online sites don't seem to recognise the code.

affirmative mate.

9452 is the code for Skoda Aqua Blue Metallic.

enter the code into the following site to see for yourself.......

Just checked that link and it is indeed correct!

Wonder why Halfords can't find it, and the MAIN dealer seems to have an issue ordering a touch up kit?

When dealing with skoda dealers i find i have to tell them rather than ask them. just checked skoda accessories online for you......

unfortunatly aqua blue does not appear. :thumbdwn:

seems silly that the dealer can provide a car painted in that colour but denies the existence of the paint :confused:

From experience of using main dealers from other brands too, not just Skoda, this is fairly typical for the breed.

They bend over backwards in the sales department to get you to buy the thing, then once it's driven off their forecourt, they don't give a toss :(

That's why I stay away from them as much as possible - they really don't deserve our custom. Imagine the additional profit they could make if they actually cared :D

I second that.mine seems to think that 'err. dont know' is a suitable answer when i was offering my custom

I've now phoned a few 'UK' mainland dealers in case it was just the Northern Ireland ones that were crap. Turns out that no dealer seems to stock a touch-up kit for this colour car!

They all say that Skoda haven't released a kit for it yet. How can they sell a car, then not supply a paint kit for it?? I'm just so gobsmacked

Anyone any suggestions on how I can obtain one from a third party(preferably on-line) before my stone chips start to rust?

Well, I now have the issue fully sorted, and if its not breaking forum rules, I'd like to commend a particular dealer for their service:

John Mullholland Motors Ltd 211a Castle Road Randalstown

Co. Antrim BT41 2EB

028 9447 3903

They managed to go the extra mile, and even had a touch-up kit in stock!

The official Skoda product number is: HFB 390 094 / 9452 , so don't let a dealer tell you it's not available - it is!!

I'm amazed that this seems to be such a well kept secret in the Skoda network, but well done Mullhollands for being ahead of the game!
