Didn't say that i was going to use it .Although its illegal to cultivate Cannabis it isn't illegal to buy the seeds. If Ross tech where that bothered by illegal copies of of their equipment they would take legal proceedings against the people selling them. Also inform Ebay and they'll take the offending items off .Its under item info click on the link report this Item. So if it is illegal why do you allow them to be sold on Ebay? Also make your product a little cheaper so it is accessible for everyone.

There have been a number of posts here when such interfaces have FUBAR'd the car's ECU/dashpod.

Wipes it clean to the point that, it obv what was done so no warranty cover.

Your decision.

Will just have to save up to get the pukka one. Don't want to hurt my baby! Cheers.

To be fair, I forked out for a full licence and official cable, and consider it good value: I have made back about £80 on diags for my own cars, been able to change settings, earned countless favours from friends and neighbours, and helped a few Briskoda members too.

Remember a diag at a dealer will cost ;)

...and that you can add a nought to the end of the price for the garage-spec stuff that has no extra functionality...

If the price bothers you that much, you'd be better off with one of the more expensive handheld scanners, and making do without the data logging...
