Well i finally found the time to get my car looked at by WIM

I was dubious to the claim of "the best £100 i've ever spent by Lee (FocusZetec)" No offence intended:thumbup:

But i can safely say i was wrong.

Same as with Lee i turned up and after about 10 mins i was asked for the keys.

Once it was all up on the Ramp and had been measured they called me out to show me the readout.

Well all bar 2 items on the screen were green. The rest were all red :eek:

Speaking to the technician he said most of it was due to the Lowering of the car and normal wear and tear. I've had the car from new since 2007 and apart from when the FSD's were put on it's never had any sort of alignment work done.

Anyway they adjusted everything that needed adjusting and the difference really is vast. The only way i can compare it is going from Standard suspension to FSD's

The car is now very very stable and just feels so much smoother through corners. I was pretty much the same as Lee until i had this done i always felt that something just wasn't quite right. Now the car feels as it should and seems to grip a lot lot better

Honestly (and i am in no way affiliated to WIM) it really really is the best £100 you can spend. The difference really is that good

Sounds promsing, my car's handling is truly shocking after some monkey outfit supposedly carried out a 4 wheel alignment, exactly what they aligned them to I am not sure to be honest.

Do you need to book in advance or can you just turn up?

I am seriously considering getting WIM to sort my car once I stick my new wheels on.

I rang up the day before and they had 1 Space left yesterday morning so i took that

A good sign when i turned up was a Brand New RS4 outside. So if someone can trust them to fiddle with that then i was more than happy to let them loose on the Blue Bullet

Tony Bones of WIM has helped me out in the past, he really knows his stuff. I'd use WIM without hesitation if I lived closer
