Scotch Gard interior treatment

Featured Replies

Just in case anyone is interested, I've bought some Scotchgard fabric protector for my vRS seats (if ever a seat looked like it needed protecting, these are them!)

I ordered it direct from 3M. My estimate is that you'll need three aerosol cans to do the interior: I'll let you know how it goes when I apply it at the weekend.

The cans are about 10 quid each, and postage is a fiver. They arrived within three days, which isn't too bad.

If you fancy ordering some, the number is 0800 581546. The spray basically acts as a barrier to liquid, and is intended for household fabrics and waterproof jackets. Hopefully it'll do the job, but I'm going to try a small test patch first. It's a lot cheaper than paying a dealer to do this.

Or Simoniz Teflon Protector. Dual pack of upholstery cleaner aerosol and spraygun protector was

I bought some stuff off Ebay called STEM soilguard

Do you reckon one can of this would do the interior?

Steve

Used Diamondbrite Jewelultra for mine, 1/2 can for all 4 seats, and they were well covered. You shouldn't saturate the seats by the way, it "may have an adverse effect"........apparantly.

Yeah both the diamondbrite sets and supaguard sets come with one can and usually half is enough.
