Just found two features on my Octavia 2.0TDi Elegance

1. There are lamps beneath the wing mirrors which light with the coming/leaving home light function. Thought these were something only fitted on the top-spec L&K version!

2. If you leave the wing mirrors in there normal position, then get out of the car and lock with the 1st press of the button on the key fob then press again and hold, the mirrors will move to the park position for you. Next time you start the car, they will open out to the normal position.

Quite impressed with these little things, even on a mid range spec'd car!. Wonder what else is on there to discover?

The first one is present on my 2005 pre FL elegance, they are called puddle lights and are designed to light up the side of the car so you can see where you are putting your feet.

A can of gunk instead of a proper spare wheel maybe ?

A can of gunk instead of a proper spare wheel maybe ?

Double checked with a local tyre repairer that once the gunk is used a conventional puncture repair can't be done.
