I have a normal 19" viewsonic, which I have been very happy with, no ghosting etc,

Anyone got one of these or have an opinion or even an alternative. I've got an older 22" viewsonic monitor and its fantastic. I think id go for that, especially as it has a HDMI, which gives more compatibility without having to mess with HDMI -> DVI leads.

My gfx has hdmi, so I just bang that in instead of the DVI lead ???

For monitor purposes theres probably no real difference between VGA/DVI/HDMI (unless you use audio as well, in which case HDMI is one lead, vs 2 for the others).

I'd say you will notice a difference between an analogue VGA connection and a digital DVI/HDMI connection. I certainly have on my 22 and 24" monitors. I've found a sharper and brighter image as a result.

DVI and HDMI are virtually the same standard, it's just the connection plug that differs, so use whichever your graphics card has.
