fibres stuck to dashboard

Featured Replies

i used a microfibre cloth to clean the windscreen and now i have loads of bits of fibres that seem to be embedded in the plastic dashboard

they come off but i have to remove each fibre individually. Just wiping the dash with a wet cloth doesnt seem to remove them. If the plastic used had a smooth finish there would be no problem

has anyone else had this problem - and how did you overcome it

thanks

Lint roller?

Vacuum with a small brush on the end?

Make a loop of parcel tape (sticky side out) around your fingers & roll it all over the dash... :thumbup:

...Simbo the car detailing expert! :rofl:

Spot on idea :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Use a can of compressed air to lift them off? Or something antistatic?

thanks guys

Get a cheap paint brush from a pound shop and with the hoover in one hand and the brush in the other, brush the fibres towards the hoover.

Old valetting trick that one. Its also good to get rid of all the bits of dust between switches and buttons.
