Hi Guys,

I realise you may not be able to help, but since I cannot get to a garage till Monday, I was hoping if it was something simple, I could try and sort it out today or tomorrow.

When the engine is on and the clutch engaged, there is a knocking sound. However, when I disengage the clutch it goes. A friend at work said it was a front engine mount, but surely if it was that, the knocking sound would be there all the time. I tried to record the sound on my mobile but I was not able to convert the file format to something easily played.

Any advice would be helpful.
