brake probs

Featured Replies

my 2001 fabia has developed a fault when braking i get a grinding judder and no braking ,then brakes ok , and after a while the warning lights come on and brakes seem to work ok ... anyone have any ideas ,, please...

assuming your brake pads aren't totally shot, i'd say your abs sensors/rings are covered in some road crud and it may be triggering the abs.

well been to garage and was a sender on the abs ,£40 part.. however the garage guy asked when i had wheel bearings done ,was in july both fronts ... reckons the wheel bearing had damage to it so my £40 part ended up costing another wheel bearing :thumbdwn:

sooner we run out of oil and have to ride about in horse and carts the better lol...

looks like trip to 1st garage friday to see what he has to say..
