Hi, yes I've done one of these conversions on my Mk2 vRS, very easy to do and works well with no error messages. Make sure you get the right kit as the first one I tried I had problems with the old blown bulb warnings. lots of people who may be able to help, simply can't be bothered putting in the effort to help. After all, why should they if the op couldn't be bothered to make his post more readable in the first place!

SIMBO wasn't being arsey - txt spk is not the way of the world matey. Its used as appropriate and this is not the appropriate place. I use it on my moby and on IM but not on a forum

To the original poster - I'm just about to fit one so I'll let you know! Lots of others on here have done the conversion and have not had any issues. Go for it!
