New car treatment

Featured Replies

I will soon be getting my new superb in steel grey. I would like to treat it wth some kind of paint protection to make cleaning easier & with less effort. Its a company car and I will probably hand wash for the couple of years.

I remember using a product called Glare on my wifes silver Ibiza over 4 yrs ago and that still comes up well after a good wash n wax.

I saw a combo of carlack sealent kit and wonder if this is any good. The 1st step, the carlack nano comes in 500ml - do I have to repeat this process often when washing the car or is it a once only application? I understand the sealant can be applied in multiple layers, but don't want to spend lots on a product that needs to be applied only once.

Is there anything else that I should condsider that wont cost a fortune.

I am prepared to clay it if required.

Thanks

Wash and clay, AG SRP AG EGP good for 6 months.

first clay it megs clay kit is a safe bet and very good , then i would try this kit Collinite 476s and Winter Carlack Selant Kit, one coat of carlack then a couple of coats of collinite , this will give you very good shine and gloss and a good 6 months protection. also do your alloys with this it will keep them clean too.

then just a weekly wash megs nxt or gold class, if you want to give it a boost try megs ultimte detailer, it will just top your shine up!
