I've had the car now for about 6 months and managed to clock up 3,000 miles, i've noticed in the last few weeks though that the car is a bit sluggish and producing clouds of smoke under half to full acceleration. The oil was clean and fresh 6 months ago and is now a dark grey colour, the worst bit for me was that i couldn't pull away from a cocky 19 year old in a Daewoo Kalos on the weekend.

Could it be simply it needs a service and i have a loose boost pipe potentially from sitting around for a few years. Is it a get Skoda involved job?

The car is late registered and is officially only 6 months old (09 reg).

sounds like a boost pipe is off somewhere or possibly a MAF fault , get it back to the dealers
