I have just traded in my Audi S4 Avant for a 3 year old Octavia vRS in Red, I'm picking the car up on Thursday and while I will miss my S4 I am looking forward to getting the Octavia to see if it is as good as I have been reading and hearing.

That's the reason the S4 is going. I am looking at buying a 911 and with the S4 costing me £400 a month in fuel alone I couldn't afford to do it. The VRS suites all of my needs - 2 kids, dog and twice yearly trips from Newcastle to Plymouth.

I toyed with selling both of the kids but after meeting with several potential buyers I realised that I'd only raise enough cash to run the S4 for a week, so it's going.

And, the dog is going nowhere!!

Just got back from picking my car up, had a near 200 mile drive on mixed roads so got a good idea of how she drives. First impressions are very good and that maybe I should have bought one 3 years ago instead of the S4 and saved myself a lot of money.
