VAG COM help in the North East

Featured Replies

Hi people

My 54reg octy vrs has decided to throw a wobbler and isnt running properly!!

It starts but runs lumpy and keeps cutting out, ive checked the coil packs and they are ok.

soooo....im looking for somebody in the north east with VAG COM who could help me!!

I will pay for this obviously but i would have to ask for you to travel to me as i dont want to use the car until i know what the fault is.

Thanks

Dan :)

It sounds like a coil pack i'm sure a new one will fix it.

I replaced the coil pack and plugs tonight and started it and took it down the road and about 2 minutes into my journey it started to stutter and the lambda sensor light flashed for a bit.

it kept on stuttering and then cut out.

I then spent about 2 minutes trying to start it and eventually ggot it going but had to rev it to 6k to get anywhere!!

Does anybody have any ideas??

Thanks

Dan

Whoops i mean the engine management light started to flash!!

Check all your pipes from turbo to intercooler to engine make sure there not coming off or split

Still could be another coilpack, or possible a throttle body problem:thumbup:
