Hi all, bit of a silly question but are you suppose to seal then wax or vice versa?

I waxed my car the other day and debating weather to put some of that AG extra gloss protection on. Not sure of the order though?

When I apply AG SRP i always follow up with at least 1 coat of EGP.

The longer you let it 'cure' the better the result.

My understanding is that waxes and sealants are similar "last step" products. So not sure that you need to do both? I'm sure an "expert" detailer will be along to clear things up soon.

Yeh hopefully. I have put come EGP on before and find it hard to buff off which im guessing is good.

I do alot of motor way driving so need bit of extra protection for the coming months.

Seal, then wax.

Sealant then Wax would be the correct order, however the Sealant stage is purely optional & IMO is a waste of time.

EGP will strip off any wax due to it's bonding solvents. Process should be polish, seal, wax. Or just Polish seal, or polish wax.
