2 stroke oil and diesel fuel

Hi All,

I have been using 2 stroke oil in my diesels for 2 years firstly with a Octavia VRS PD170 now on my Superb CR170.

In the past I have tried millers and other diesel fuel additives but could not feel any difference in the car.

Almost straight away after adding 2 stroke the engine runs sweeter and more quite

I add 500ml per tank find marine 2 stoke is the best TC–W3 specification.

Curious how much this will cost you in the long run,,, . What with the cost of the extra oil and the knackered DPF !!

Good luck with your experiment, but with the Superb I can't help asking WHY!!

Quite agree with G.K.

Not worth the experiment, I used to use marine 2T in my older petrol engined vehicles, this was better than Red-X, I was at the time an auto & marine engineer technician now retired.

Spectrum, be interested in hearing how that went in petrol engines? Were they fuel-injected or with carbs?

Cheers

Bas
