17559 fault code in Skoda Fabia 1.4 AUB engine

Featured Replies

Dear Skoda Expect

Recently my car got this problem. I tried to clean the throttle body myself and the excessive oil around the areas and reset the warning light. However, it comes back on again after driving 100 miles.

My car engine is a bit lumpy when accelerating on a steep hill using 2nd gear (more obvious in third gear), I could easily hear the jerking sound (not too sure whether I described it correctly). It seems like there is a air blocked or perhaps leaking somewhere.

I searched on the internet, it is related to the piston ring fault, and it is a common problem to skoda fabia 1.4 1.6V 100bhs engine.

Is there any best and cheap way to resolve this problem? Do I have to change a new piston ring? Is injection fuel cleaner helpful in this problem?

Thanks for reading this post
