FL VRS interior changes

Featured Replies

Can someone point me to the right thread please.

I am trying to find out what changes were made to the interior of the facelift VRS and were there any equipment changes.

The only item I can see that has changed is that it now comes with the Bolero

Have the seats remained exactly the same?

IIRC the seats are the same, wheel I think is different as is the new Bolero stereo and the new Climate Control panel.

Some additional silver trim around the gear stick + ashtray and thats about it I think.

Don't forget the steering wheel, massive improvement in my opinion.

Oops, just seen that was already mentioned.

Mistake

Steering wheel, Bolero HU, new VRS logo on the seats, new trim colour on doors and dash, new climate panel, new dashpod design (backlight changes, Maxidot/trip computer has changed, dials changed - font/design, temp & fuel dials relocated)

Not really been in the old vRS, but was the headlining and the sunglass holder black like the FL? I know my old elegance was white/cream...?

Yep, black on my vRS.

Don't forget the cruise control which wasn't standard before!

as mentioned the whole instrument panel is much nicer to look at, the white LED lighting is very easy on the eye, climate controls are a big change and again much nicer

the silver trim now has a brushed steel/aluminium look all round and looks 10 times better.

seats are the same though (part of the reason I went for the leather..just fancied a change!)

and the wheel is chunkier and smaller and feels lovely to hold

Equipment wise it is mainly the touch screen stereo, and that climate/electric rear windows/jumbo box are all standard now (they had become standard on the later pre-FL vRS as well).

... and the gear knob now has a chrome top and is leather
