Finished Call of Duty Last Night...

Featured Replies

Admittedly it was on Greenhorn Setting (Easy), but still a tough challenge. Some of the levels are excellent, definite feeling of being a relatively insignificant cog in a much larger machine, especially when you are ducking for cover from bombers over head, or with shells whistling past your ears! I especially liked the Russian levels, where you play through the eyes of a conscript, minus gun for the first part, it amazing to watch from a distance as thousands of soldiers in the same mould reach the shore at Stalingrad and pile off the boats to be welcomed by German machine gun fire mowing everyone down. Sorry to get excited, but it really is one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. Anyone else played/ finished it? Also, which other games have hit you as being atmospheric? I love GTA Vice City at sunset with Roxy Music in the background. Very Cool. Also gotta love the 60's vibe in Grand Prix Legends (once its been updated to modern graphical, sound standards). Think of any more?

You'll now have to try the United Offensive Expansion Pack for COD.

Also try the Medal of Honor Series similar type as COD but slightly better and harder in most peoples opinions. Released prior to COD.

Bought the Medal Of Honour Warchest compilation last weekend, guess what I'll be playing this weekend?

I love GTA Vice City at sunset with Roxy Music in the background. Very Cool.
Reminds me GTA San Andreas is out very soon (or now if you want to download it!) :D

Just thought of another atmospheric game - ICO on PS2, that is a very cool game, when you are up on the castle walls looking off inot the distance...
