Fabia VRS Tyres

Featured Replies

I need to replace the tyres on our VRS (Original Wheels) - 20K on fronts and 40K on rears - Sportcontact 2'S - I'm very happy with the Conti's but cant get them - Conti say that they are on back order, but cant give me a date - I once had to wait 3 months when we punctured one. Has anyone got any experience of other tyres, which hopefully are easier to obtian.

Thank you.

I contacted Skoda CS today and they were very helpful (not) - they said that any tyre with 205 45 16 W marked on the sidewall would be OK. When I asked what they recommended they checked with "technical" who repeated the above and added brands such as Bridgestone, Pirelli, Goodyear, Michelin, Continental ...................................before I put the phone down!

Why did I expect any more from them?

Any Idea's please. AvonZZ3 have been suggested for £342 or Michelin Pilot Exalto v2 for £420 - any thoughts, please.

if you do a search in the Fabia I furom for tyres, there a loads of threads aboiut people's tyre choices.

IIRC the favourites are Toyo's, Goodyears and Uniroyals
