Yeti now outselling other small SUV's in Czech Republic

Featured Replies

Just picked up on an article in the on-line Czech auto magazine regarding homeland vehicle sales statistics.

According to these statistics in the month of September the Yeti for the first time become the number one seller in the small SUV category, with a total of 163 sales compared to it's nearest competitor the VW Tiguan with 112 sales.:)

Will obviously need a translating tool such as Google translate.

Doesn't suprise me. Tiguan is not good value for money, and is very bland. The SE spec is not that good, and comes with very little.

Front end looks good, but the rear end of the car is so ugly. Surely VW will have to do something on prices or engines, sales of these will plummet in 2010. I test drove a 2.0 TDI SE DSG, and like all VAG TDI's DSG they are very poor on enconomy. I could get much more than 38 MPG out of it, even with a light foot.
