Hi everyone - another thriving community on the web I've found here then eh ?

I've got my VRS Hatch on order - build date week 47 (though the dealer seems very reluctant to give me a firm delivery date - is this common ?)...

In negotiating the deal, I had 3 dealers each try to charge between £300 and £400 for the MFSW, even though I'm buying the TDi DSG model.....the last one finally backed down when I was showing him the details in he brochure, but he's left me wondering what I'm actually going to get. Anyone else had this problem ?

One forum member I stumbled on yesterday even found he had multi dot fitted on his DSG, even though he didn't order the BT/Phone options. Again, this isn't something that comes with the MFSW is it ?

Also, I'm trying to establish if the VRS has folding mirrors. I can't get back to the dealers to have a poke around and I don't want to phone hassling them again......There's no option to add them so curious if they're standard. The Skoda.cz web site suggests they are....

Last one, and this one seems real petty - how many remote keys are supplied with the new cars ? My ciroen came with just one, which really pee'd me off - just hoping I'm not heading for that trauma again....

MFSW is included with DSG and not an option on the manual. Maxidot is an option though it seems if you order the MFSW and DSG you also get it.

As for the folding mirrors it would appear this option is deleted on UK spec cars for some strange reason, only the Elegance/L&K in the UK get them :(

Thanks guys...I've come across two people now claiming they got maxi dot with the DSG, but without ordering it and without BT etc..

so, how many keys am I going to get then ?

Hey everyone....Skoda UK have confirmed that the VRS DSG does indeed come with Maxi Dot as standard. I'm sick of dealers trying to charge me extra for the MFSW AND Multidot, when both are included in the standard build.....They either don't know their product, or they're a bunch of lying toads....
