Does anyone have a list of what other Skoda,s, Audi,s, VW,s and so on that have the same 256mm Vented rears as the VRS?

Cheers

I also take it that the 288 solid discs from the golf fit aswell?

Ooops – double post

On the front of a standard Octavia, yes, but they're usually 288mm vented.

The rears on a standard Octy are 233mm solid.

And the fronts of a vRS Octy are 312mm vented.

Which one's did you mean and what are you trying to do?

I'm kind of looking for the vRS calipers and carriers for my 1.8T so I can fit the 256mm rears instead of the 233mm I've got at the moment (I've already got the 312mm fronts)

I also take it that the 288 solid discs from the golf fit aswell?

What you trying to do then?

Biggest 'OEM+' rears you can fit are the 256mm vented rears, as fitted to all the cars listed in my thread.

Easiest big brake upgrade for the front of a standard Octy is the 312mm vRS fronts.

Yeah both my Octys have the 312 conversion on the front already but i was looking at putting 288 solid discs from the rear of a mk5 golf on it!

Does anyone know if these fit or indead any mk5 stuff

I know the 312 disc from the Mk2 VRS is the same size but the stud size is a different pattern, does this go for the golf too?

Or does the fact that there is so many holes in the 312 discs that they would fit!

Look on UK MKIV's, there's a guy on there selling the conversion kits for bigger rear discs although offhand I can't remember the size he does!
