Lower instrument panel lights out

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone advise me where to look to sort my problem.

Radio and heater controls have no illumination at all.

It's been like that for months but my wife is now driving my car and she's becomming a nusience (if you know what I mean) ;)

The radio and heater etc work fine but it's just that there are no lights on.

Is it a fuse ? which? or do I need to take the whole panel out?

1998 (S) Octavia Estate

Thanks in advance

Keith

Sorry can't help with the issues, I just like your name :rotz::rotz:

The middle knob... fans speed i think. Set it so it's facing upwards, then using all the dexterity you have, pull out towards you. Then you'll see a single bulb in there which will need replacing. This caters for all the lighting behind the heater panel!

That's how I remember it anyway, can't help you with bulb type unfortunately.
