Flash help needed

Featured Replies

any ideas on how to extract just the audio from a flash file??

TIA

ben

record it????

Have you got the swf or the fla file?

I won't be able to help but it will narrow down the possibilities.

If it's something from the internet you've probably got the swf.

Spoken to a friend who is a flash developer.

If you have a swf file you will need some sort of decomplier program from the web. Some do have a tendency to corrupt the original file so work with a duplicate.

If you have the fla file get a trial version of flash mx from macromedia (BIG DOWNLOAD) and play about with that.

Recording the sound may be easier.

Good luck

Just googled the problem...Might this do the trick.

Demo, but limitations are (apparently) it can only habdle one swf at a time...and only works for 15 days...may just do the job :)

:( oh dear, sorry about that - works for me though! You have to fiddle and set it up beforehand to capture the sound. It wil, however, only do 40 seconds until registered.

Bet it's not the only application along these lines....

cheers venty baby, that worked perfectly in a total time of about 45 seconds, that was download - install - run - rip - save - close - un-install

No probs mate...glad it worked for you :)

To convert mp3 to wav, I use itunes, but then I use itunes for all things sound related. However, this may do...it's a trial, but I don't know the limitations.

Edited to say: Looks like it's a 15 day trial with no limitations.
