Hi im considering buying an 08 Octavia Scout but need a towbar fitted, is it just a case of getting one fitted and away you go or does the cars handling have to be altered by having the the computer linked up to and changed?

Watch out for the electrics as they are on a computer control ( CAN bus ) system, if you can fit the original factory electrics then that could possibly be VAGCOM changed so the car would switch off the reversing sensors when you have a trailer on the hitch. cheers - Stuart.
