Right... I have noticed a few owners are putting the reg on the side and doing something with the current reg plate holder bit does anyone have pictures of this and a rough guide to do it? Search is failing me :(

I saw something on someone using the alfa side mount, and butchering it onto the bumper. Might be worth looking into!

What's the legality with sticker number plates? Is it all good if they have the correct font and spacing?

Mine from the front. As for doing it - you remove the plate. Carefully, using a razor sharp stanley knife, cut away the plastic backing from the plate area, being careful not to cut into the visible part of the bumper (this will be obvious when you see where and how it joins the bumper) Then using some mesh, glue it in using polyurethane adhesive (eg Tiger seal). Best to bend the mesh 90 degrees inside the bumper to give it area to adhere to. Less said about the sticker plate re legality the better but mine is legal size and reflectiveness, and is stamped as need, but not had any issues with the law yet.

Nice that you have kept your Fogs.

Is the Fog surround an insert ? or actually part of the bumper ?.

Just an insert panel. The fogs bolt in behind this though. The fogs play no part in hindering the big mouth mod, so I left mine in (well, strictly speaking I colour coded the black bits silver....)

I bought an Alfa 155 number plate plynth off ebay for £11. It lines up with the shape of the bumper nicely, just a little too wide, so i'm going to trim and filter fill it about 3 inches narrower. Should sit fine - once I get round to it!
