Our Elegance has one - not massive but big enough for a telescopic brolly, small camera, etc.

Is there something similar under the driver's seat ?

I have retrofitted an under seat storage box in my Roomster. As standard it has one under the passenger seat.

So I ordered a Passenger Seat storage box from a LHD drive model and robert's your fathers brother

I assume you could do the same with the Yeti

...so it looks like a retrofit on an SE might work.

Sorry to drag up a really old thread.

But does the yeti elegance have storage boxes under both seats. I cannot remember on the test drive i had if it had one under the drivers seat.

and if you spec the electric drivers seat can it be retro fitted?

Mine only has one under the passanger seat.

Mind I've never used it, to small to be of much use; would have been good if the service book fitted but it doesn't

Both sides are available about £50 each, so you should be able to retro fit them, A lot of money though.

in some countries you have to have a fire extinguisher and there is a kit to fit one under the drivers seat, instead of the Store Draw.

Very handy for the sat nav I find keeps it out of sight when not in action.

They don't look very large though! Just wondering if the strange Audi-branded box under my Greenline's drivers seat would stop me fitting the right one? Anyone popped them in a Greenline yet? (not available as an extra on ordering, presumably add 3g too much to the car weight...

Am I missing something or have we gone off into Fabia/Roomster territory here? Has anyone checked whether these fit The Yeti especially ones with bluetooth?

Hi,

I bought the appropriate parts to fit a spare drawer under the drivers seat of my Yeti. Can't speak for the electric seat but I think the rest of the range use a similar seat frame and should therefore be able to accept the retro fit.

Drawer - 5N08826029B9 (£12.73+VAT)

Frame - 5N08826009B9 (£11.60+VAT)

Fitted bolt x2 - N90646201 (0.21 each+VAT)

The prices quoted are 15m old and anyone ordering should confirm the numbers haven't changed. Also worth having a look at the schematic (perhaps someone else can help here?) for assorted speed nuts and screws used as well.

It was an easy fit IF you remove the front seat runner bolts, thus allowing you to tip the seat forward/back making for much easier access.

Am I alone in thinking that a storage drawer under the drivers seat is not a good idea. My passenger seat one has opened under heavy braking on a few occasions, presumaly because I use it to store phone and sat nav chargers and connection wires etc andf they sometimes get into the catch mechanism and stop it engaging correctly?

I personally would not appreciate the box opening and items ending up underfoot whilst driving.
