I am currently a brand new member struggling to maintain my status as Skoda driver I have a problem with my blower (packed in heater works)and can`t access it is it only accessible from dashboard or can I access it from engine compartment ? I have minimal mechanical experience and have been told by local garage that its a big job HELP please

It's not a big job, it is all accessible from under the bonnet and replacement should take a maximum of an hour, It is all under that central grille between the wipers, this unclips and the motor un bolts. The motors are different between petrol and diesel models, though a petrol one can be adapted to fit a diesel.
