Hi

I spoke to soon - the warning lignt is coming back on, it comes on after driving a short distance but not every time and I can not see a light out. I spoke to dealer and have been told that about 5 other yetis have the same problem, all diesels - the fault sensor is too sensitive and skoda are trying to sort a software solution. The saga continues

Regards

Mike

Sorry to hear that Mike, hope they don't take too long finding a fix.

Yes Warning light not showing but it can be up to 500 mts then warning light comes on and sometimes there is no light out on car but at other times my front O/S headlight goes out!

Like it did on my way home from work tonight Yes the original fault is back

Getting a bit fed up now

Killy,

I have been away for a fortnight sorry to see you still have the front light issue (I think I still have it too). As a side issue, doe's your Maxidit loose its settings on occasions?

Hi Ray.

I hope you had a good holiday. I have been advised to use the lights on manual until skoda find a fix, I have been useing them on auto. What settings do you refer to, more info please.

Unless someone at the airport car park has been messing about, My lights, light up for the coming/leaving home fuction when I had left them switched off.

Thinking about it, I bet loads of people gave it the once over :giggle:

Had a new twist this morning. Previously either the warning lamp was on, and we have had the "front o/s headlamp" message and the headlamp has indeed been out. This morning, no warning lamp or message but at first I thought the o/s headlamp was out, then I realised it was just tilted right down. But then it did go out! So did the usual switch off engine and restart and it went through the usual tilt/swivel self-check and was fine.

It's going in on New Year's Eve so we'll see what they say.

I'm beginning to think being only able to afford the SE was maybe not so bad. It looks like a software problem eeek hell knows why they didn't get this fully working before launch... Hope you get it working soon...
