Door rattle

Featured Replies

After 1 second when closing the passenger door theres a rattle-anyone having similar problems?

All these rattles, squeaks, creaking sounds are getting on my nerves.

Wanna try running badly setup comps in your doors. Nothing but a bit of music, farting and shaking and banging.... :grumpy:

But oddly enough its starting to bed in, getting a little more bassier, and once I've got the matting sorted out and properly sealed the speaker DIY timber mounts, it should be sounding sweet as.

Take all the interior apart and pad everything with felt...this is what im seriously considering as the amount of rattles my interior has is awful :thumbdwn: Sorry i cant help :(

Been meaning to do this also.

Wouldnt skoda sort it under warranty?

my 1.4 rattles like a tin can. does my head in. then other days theres no rattling at all. the doorcards esspecially rattle appaulingly!

Word of advice I've had - If you can pick up laminate flooring insulation, especially sticky backed stuff - that works well to pack out interior, like door cards. I'll be looking to get some through one of my work's suppliers - trade prices, no VAT. excellent. :D

I must be luck as my Octy is silent

One or two minor creaks in mine but I have only noticed them since putting the KW suspension on. They only appear on really bumpy roads.

Well I was at Horners Manchester today to get a new heated mirror glass and they check out the rattling, the door didnt rattled when i closed it anymore. However more importantly there was a really irritating creaking noise in the car when driving at slow speeds when when reversing it would increase, this turned out to be a missing bolton from the intercooler pipe. They sorted it and now theres no noise!!!

Had one rattle in the Furby on the boot lid took it back to the dealers all been ok since then now done 9.5 k I think the build on the Furby is so good looking at swapping our mondeo new shap for an octy VRS
