Getting A Vag-Com Job Done On Monday , Any Other Good Mods To Make While I'm At It?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

As the title suggests, i'm getting the DPF mapped out on Monday morning , and a thought just occured to me , that if there were any other neat little changes that i could make while i was at it, that i would.

Does anyone have any suggestions:

Model : PD TDI Octy 2 (06)

Much Appreciated

Tom

The most common activations are probably:

Alarm chirp when locked and un-locked

Anti hi-jack

Coming home lights (de-activated)

Selective door un locking

etc

i asked to have the alarm cherp and emergency hazards added when my 2008MY scout went in for service

was told they couldnt get into the dianostics to change and i would have to rebook and they would speak to skoda technical

anyone else had this?

Just had my vRS fettled a couple of weeks ago, got turn lights via fog lights, coming home/leaving home lights, both rear fog lights activated. You can change the alarm tone if you want to the rest of the world setting, have emergency brake hazard warning lights activated (unless this is standard on the vRS I'm not sure, never really put the anchored on in mine). Not sure of anything else. Oh and if your MFD2 wasn't original to the car you can tell your car it has nav rather than a radio. Hope that helps
