I've been lurking on these forums for a little while so I thought it about time I make a post! We have had our Race Blue VRS CR for about 3 weeks bought from Specialist Cars Skoda in Aberdeen. Although not managing to get much extra discount we got a good price for our 4 year old Fabia VRS and the service was pretty good too. We ended up getting one of the cars that was in the system with the options that we wanted (rear parking sensors / maxidot - the rear tinted glass was done at the dealer) as at the time we were looking at placing an order (end of Sept) the build dates were looking like we might not have got the car until late Dec / early Jan. There were a total of 4 VRS Cr Estates in the system on the Sunday when we first looked and only 2 left when we went to place the order 2 days later!

Overall very impressed with the car, I had previously driven the PD version and agree with other posters on the forum that the PD has a real good punch when you put your foot down but is over very quickly - a bit like in the Fabia VRS but the CR is much smoother and quieter with power spread through the rev range.

Another obsevation is that our car came with Continental Sport Contact 2 tyres fitted whereas I notice that others have Dunlop Sport Maxx

I have also retro-fitted the OEM bluetooth myself thanks to some good posts and links on this forum. I will post my findings in the diagnostics section at this may be of help to others.

I have them. Very noisy and pretty poor grip. Looking forward to them wearing out. Welcome!

Mine has the Dunlops which actually don't seem too bad, but I haven't pushed them yet (only 300 miles). They do seem quite quiet, but the whole car is quieter - CR engine and different door seals/mirrors.
