Maybe a stupid question....can-bus

Sorry if the argument was already discussed, but i had no luck with the search function.

Question: i'm about to buy one of those OBD "service reset" units off ebay. I noticed that for VAG veichles there's two version, one for can-bus cars and one not can-bus.

Wich one should i buy?

Is it just for one time use or something longer term? Just thinking you may be able to save a cuppla quid getting a local garage to reset? ...or for something more long term, buying the proper VCDS diags software & cable?

It would be nice, but as i haven't a laptop, i'll need a 20 yards cable...

Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed. Hi everyone. First off, apologies if this has already been covered. I did take a look but couldn't find anything specific. For history, it's a 13 plate TDI vrs Octavia (MK2) was rattling like a good un' so replaced clutch and flywheel (and slave cylinder) did do a SMFW conversion too. Turns out, that WAS a problem, but the gearbox is also shot, so that's on my list to replace next. Started and drove home fine that night. Next day, I drove it to work (about 20 minutes) no problems. Infotainment System Restarting endlessly

Mid-way through a holiday in France and the Infotainment gremlins are back… SOS call fail, parking distance fail and manoeuvre assist fail, coupled with infotainment system booting, lasting about 30s, freezing and rebooting. SOS light on red and multiple warnings on dash. Car is coming up to 2 years old and has had repeated software issues. Could really use some help from someone who has had this issue and can stop the endless reboots !!!
