16705 fault code??

Featured Replies

My boss has fault code 16705 which is causing limp mode.Car holds back at approx 2300rpm and doesn't boost properly.

I have cleared all codes and this is the only one that comes back.It does point to the 'Hall Sensor' G28 and i have even swapped mine over to see if it clears the problem, but it doesn't.

Any suggestions?

TIA.

Crank/Hall sensor but it didn't solve the problem.

Maybe the plug or the wiring to the plug is dodgy.

Surely there's an opportunity to wangle some sort of bonus if you fix this for him!!

I have the same fault on SWMBOs Fabia 1.4 TDI. The car runs fine, but is a bit difficult to start and has a flashing glow plug light and steady engine management light.

I have changed the crank sensor twice and the fault goes away for a while and then returns.
