Can anyone point me in the direction of a good history of the Octavia Mk1?

There's a good summary on Wikipedia but I'd like more info on the tail end of cars sold here - I've a Mk1 VRS registered in 03/2006, built 02/2006 according to the VIN and with plastics date stamps between 08/2005 and 12/2005 & everything I see seems to assume that the Mk1 production and delivery stopped in 2004.

They did make them for a while after the Mk2 came out. Plus they still make the Octavia Tour, which is a Mk1.

I have a Mk1 TDI SE on 04 plate, Feb 04 date stamps & May 04 pre del insp. I had assumed that the SE versions were the last of the Mk1s, being supplied with 6CD changer, multi function steering wheel etc to get rid of the old shape bodies. Interesting.
