After some advice on photo organising software.

I am after something that allows me to browse photos sorted by folder, select a batch for opening editing and printing.

I used to use Microsoft digital image library and digatal image suite to edit them. However, the library does not work under vista.

I like Microsoft digital imaging for the editing as its simple to use and does an adequate job for my eiting/printing needs, however get annoyed at having to open the files individualy from file explorer.

Any suggestions on alternatives, probably open to spend upto £50. TIA

Have you tried google picasa? Its a fantastic piece of software for photos and its completely free!
