Hi all, as christmas is almost upon us does anyone know if you can but a front upper strut brace for the Octavia II with the 2.0tdi engine and dsg? I have looked on flebay but cant find any at all. If no one makes this item would a golf mk5 2.0tdi fit?Thanks all

you wont find a upper strut brace for the octavia cos no one makes them as they are not needed.It was a popular mod on the mk1 but the mk2 shell/chassis was something like 200% stiffer.Lower anti roll bars are what you want. Either just the ear bar or a front rear combo.

I agree that the effect of fitting a front brace will be limited, but there are deffo braces available. I've seen one fitted to that white vRS estate from Australia and I know they are also available from the USA. Sorry can't get the link because the search facility doesn't seem to be working properly.
