dragon performance question

Featured Replies

I've been offered a unused dragon performance box from a MK 4 golf 1.9TDi, been reading through old posts and they seem to be decent units but is this still seen as being a good unit. I know it sound a bit stupid but wanted to check there is no problems with fitting this to a fabia before i spend the cash.

Go for it!

PM WaveyDavey for an opinion!

Extra poke, Extra smoke, completely reversible and saleable when your done with it.

If it works OK they are very good but don't put the settings on maximum as it could upset ecu and put it safe mode

I had one for about 9 months, as Mike says extra poke and extra smoke especially at full throttle. My only problem was that you could feel where it stepped in the extra fuel, fine if you're on it but certain driving could be a bit of a pain as it was almost on or off.

Having said that, if you can pick one up cheap. Do it! :D

I got one of these on my car, massive noticeable difference. Adds around extra 30 bhp so looking at around 160bhp, which is decent for tune it box. Only down fall i find is that the delivery of power is not as smooth as you would get if you were to get remap, sometimes i feel a big kick after 2k rpm and sometimes its fine whereas with a remap its smooth power throughout the rev range. But all in all can't go wrong if you can get it cheap. :)
