Thanks for the welcome guys, yeah my thread seemed to post twice with no text in it - must have been the server crash, you just cant seem to get good IT staff these days LOL (I work in IT)

I recently purchased an Octavia VRS MKII and I have to be honest it is by far the best car I've ever had and Im currently persuading my mate to go for an Octavia instead of a Passat. I find that most VW's these days are very bland, even the higher spec ones. I had a MK5 GT TDI Golf before the Octavia and it was the most bland car I've ever had - really disappointed with it. When I jumped into the Octavia VRS I was very surprised with the solid build quality and lovely finish compared to all the VW's I had tested. I will definately be changing to a MKIII in a few years Skoda FTW!
