Just got me a 2nd hand octy tdi90. Just wondered if there is anyone here from Redditch areas. Im no newbie as such but dropped skoda in 2003, after many long years with the marque. Had estelles, a rapid cabrio, and well, all the others then up till may last one being a 1998T Octy 1.6. That dropped the rivits. ouch went the wallet. I moved away then from Sko.

wow a few replies. I just remembered I made this thread. Im not getting the notifications on replys, even tho its ticked.

Looks like Im going to continue my recomendation of a skoda dealer. My car is at All Electric in Kings Heath for a timing belt kit to be replaced. Just heard back off them and the job is done, well fast, much pleased about that...just rounding my dad up to give me a lift back there. I was offered a loan car, but had to self insured. MNy ins co wanted 25 quid admin, and another 75quid on top. The polite version was used to go away lol.

Our family started with skoda in '89. My dad was looking to replaced aging j reg beetle and was lookingat riva and the estelle. The day he was going to order the new car he drove to the lada garage, and kept going... lol. Since then, we have have a fair few on all shapes and sizes :-)
